Director

Our preschool director—Amy Dungan—led one of South Carolina’s few preschools given an A+ in the region prior to establishing Heartwood Community Preschool. Earlier in her career she was a public school administrator, literacy coach and lead classroom teacher. She has earned two master’s degrees in education and administration, and is a certified South Carolina Master Naturalist. Amy has enjoyed living in the Lowcountry for three decades.
